ICTI’s constitution treats cultural understanding as part of its economic mandate rather than separate from it: using trade, cooperation and responsible exchange to strengthen peaceful relationships across communities.
This strand documents and promotes the built and craft heritage of member states — architecture, traditional trades and the artisanal economies around them — and connects that heritage to the members whose businesses depend on it.
The work is documentary and convening in nature. ICTI does not hold custodianship of any site or collection; preservation decisions rest with the institutions and authorities responsible for them.
Scheduling, participating chapters and published outcomes for this initiative will appear here once confirmed by the Secretariat.
